Some stations here in Brampton kept them at 130.9 so it's all over the map now.

You are correct; but I believe Sonata 2015 has everything and more than I would ever need/want.

Genesis is great but it is little bit big for me. In terms of engine, consumptions, body size. Ideal car is Elantra/Civic size. But that class does not have all the toys I crave for :)

Hey guys! Anybody drives Hyundai?

I am considering new Sonata among Mazda6, Acura TLX and Lexus IS. All different categories (price-vise) but the same segment. Unfortunately current Accord is not my dream car... Shame.

Canadian Tire was the only station at 132.9 of those I passed this morning. All the rest were 131.9 or 131.7. Both 680 News and TGPT were incorrect!

At 7 PM I get an email which initially says prices will fall in Mississauga. When I click on, CLICK ON, the price isn't changing. TGPT needs to revamp its email and leave out the prediction about prices rising or falling. Just tell us to CLICK ON and we will find out the truth.

At 4 PM, TGPT says a 1.1 cent decrease for Thursday. That would make it 131.8.

At 2 PM, 680 News says a drop of one cent Wednesday. TGPT says prices will drop but keeps it a state secret. Perhaps we will see 132.9 tomorrow!

Today, Saturday, prices are all over the map. Some stations at 133.9 but most I saw in Mississauga were 132.9 Petro Canada is the culprit where they don't have another station on the same corner.

TGPT at 6 PM has stubbornly kept the price today at 134.9 whereas stations in Mississauga have shown 133.9. TGPT predicts a drop tonight. I have seen this before when they have been out one cent. So the price will drop as far as TGPT states but it will likely remain at 133.9 Time will tell!

All day Friday, TGPT predicted a decrease of one cent from 134.9. At 12 AM Saturday, an email was received saying the price would not change in Mississauga. Curious, I went out to get five prices and they were all 133.7 or 133.9 Unbelievable!

Tramguy - the email refers you to look at the homepage, where there for the wanting was the 1 cent a litre increase to $134.9 for the GTA(8 am this morning. I also got a facebook note too from TGPT around that same time. I dont really know how to follow these price changes anymore because the canadian dollar is all over the place. Just glad someone is able to manage through big oil's jungle ! lol

biffbarnes: 680 must have changed theirs to match TGPT as they were advertising no change all day. I check my computer several times a day and as late as 4 PM they were stating the above. Get out your crystal ball and tell us how much of an increase for Thursday, whether I need to mortgage my house?

Not sure about raking in the money on TGPT's side.. they werent bought out by OPIS ... which has megabucks through its US owner United Comms Group which supplies a lot of data and info to the petroleum industry. A telling way to know for sure though ... according to my brother is if you see a little blue google ad icon in the upper right corner of the ads. If you see that, they dont pay very well, while ads without it do.

Btw - I just heard TGPT on Newstalk 1010 say the price is down a penny tonight to $133.9 ! Wow ... big deal eh !

Maybe the government should take over this site? No, on second thought, they would have trouble organizing a one man band. Lol. Before the fire at Nanticoke, in February 2007, I would always buy gas after 10 PM as the price kept falling during the day, as much as 10 cents a litre. The good old days! With regards to criticism and "free" information, the former is part of life when the latter is questionable. The owners of this website are probably raking in good money through advertisements. Have a great day!

Okee Dokee --- If you saved 76 cents (ie your tank took only 38 litres), that's fine. But now multiply that by the savings for the year, multiplied by the 6 - 7 years the site has operated - im guessing several hundred dollars. Not your average site, especially since it probably saves more , attleast for Toronto motorists than GB itself.

Still I agree with the idea that something is amiss over at TGPT. Seems to have started when they did their early next day predictions ... ie a couple of hours before ummm 680 !! lol

I never rely on e-mails especially from free websites. Why do you expect that somebody will send you an email for service you do not pay for and it could seize to exist at any time???? Even pay sites screw up emial communication so why not FREE one???
Why do you guys criticize so much and expect 'reliable service' from free site - site which exist just because somebody has way to much time on their hands or tries to make money form the ads?
Checking their web site yesterday at 21:00 I saved 76 cents. Thank you, but if such site disappears I will continue to buy gas when I need it and will not stop driving and wait help from above (or below).

At 7:11 PM, I received an email from TGPT saying prices would FALL on Sunday. When I clicked on "CLICK", it said prices would UP 2 cents a litre. There needs to be better communication!
