"The U.S. EPA delivered its final stamp of approval for E15 on June 15 by approving the first misfueling mitigation plans (MMPs) for individual companies. The agency’s approval of MMPs was the final step necessary to be cleared before E15 could be sold by retailers for use in 2001 and newer vehicles."

GC is correct. Even me, ethanol zealot, has never advised anyone to do what I do. Only exception is people who's vehicles advise the use of 91 or higher octane fuel. Them, I tell to go to E-30 for a much better cost per mile and cleaner engine.

I blend as high as E-40 and have had great results. Use whatever fuel you are comfortable with just don't distort the facts and make up nonsense about ethanol.

We don't advise anyone to use higher blends in their non-ffv's. I never have said that. Many people have researched and chose to use higher blends.

"I wonder what the penalty is for those (like GC) who illegally advise their client tell to use high levels of ethanol diluted gasoline (higher then 15%) in non-ffv vehicles?"

Show me in the law, shocky, where it's illegal to advice someone that it's OK to use a higher E blend.

BTW, university "teacher", it's clientele.

The only thing the EPA cares about is whether E15 interferes with the emission control system.
