That lighthouse at Split Rock is my all time favorite. The cliff is about 300 ft. high and they had to build a set of rails up to it nearby and haul everything up from Lake Superior as they didn't have overland access from Duluth, MN. The whole light and lense housing was floating on 3,000 lbs of mercury. The EPA would have a fit. Warren :D)
