Chop 2/3 of EPA funding, rules and regs, and watch the economy bounce back like a super ball.

Permafrost has melted before. Viking farms in Greenland are under permafrost today, which means that land was not frozen at the time. You will find similar examples in the Andes of South America. There was a 500 year period in the middle ages when the earth was much warmer than it is today.
The Arctic has also been without ice in the past. In any case, the polar regions are gaining ice, not losing it.
The planet has been cooling for the last 10+, not heating. The temperature today is about what it was around 1940. That is why they are calling it "climate change" today instead of global warming. Back in the 70s, many of these same scientists claimed we were headed for another ice age. They claimed back then that man was causing the earth to cool. These are topics that are inconvenient truths to the global warming scientists.

Just wait till the Pole Shift happens. the poles are a-movin! No more Arctic, it'll appear somewhere else, and a lot will pay for it. Here are some future maps of the US. Happy Browsing!

Actually what we have to worry about will occur far sooner and that is the loss of land along the seaboards, the inundations of low-lying island chains, including the complete disappearance of places like Florida, the Louisiana coast, the Mississippi coast, ditto Alabama, Texas etc. And California will lose miles and miles of beaches as will Oregon and Washington although those Northern areas are generally on higher ground due to the ramifications of natural progressions.

PDQBlues and jrsva, it won't cause just a few cents increase. You will be looking at paying much much more. Obama promised energy prices would skyrocket under his plan, and you will see it.
As for global warming, it is a hoax and has been proven as such. The earth has warmed and cooled many times since the earth has begun. We have seen ice ages and periods where it has been much hotter (such as the 500 year period in the middle ages) while man has roamed the earth. Man has not affected any of it. It is a natural process. Give up this religious zealousness you have and research the subject yourself!

Just imagine how much money we would save if we didn't have the EPA wasting time and getting paid for it. Why cut education when we could cut the EPA.

Increased CO2 = more plantlife = more oxygen = Less CO2. Not a bad thing. It's also been shown (by NASA, though they didn't report this until testifying before congress) that our atmosphere actually filters what the atmosphere doesn't need into space, while trapping the gases the earth (& we) DO need. And while artic ice pack melts in th west, it expands in the west. Polar bears are as happy as a fiddle. Ohhhh, right, and the temp of the earth has been dropping the last 10-12 years. But don't let these facts get in the way of hoax if you don't want to ;)

Hopefully not. Yes, doing the right thing will cost some money. Maintaining the status quo by burning more coal and oil, pumping more and more CO2 into the atmosphere, will cost far more in the long run. The earth is warming slowly but the Arctic is warming rapidly. When the Arctic ice cap is gone and the permafrost melted, there will be a massive release of methane into the atmosphere. Game over. Planet uninhabitable.

So, I would rather pay a few extra cents and have less pollution. It's a win for the American People! If you want to live in a polluted capitalist nation, move to China.

You are absolutely correct! Those who claim that corporate giants lost and the people won are totally clueless about what this decision means. All energy prices (including gasoline) and many other product prices will skyrocket in cost because of this decision since CO2 is produced by just about every manufacturing plant including refineries. Who do they think will pay the extra cost? We consumers will. DUH!
Aside from that, the decision is stupid on its face because CO2 does no harm to this planet. You would think this were a decision for or against acid rain or everyone drinking poison, the way some of these people for the decision are posting.

It's too bad that only half-truths exist at th EPA and they refuse to look at the whole picture. Manmade global warming is NOT a problem if folks looked at (and if the lame-brain media reported) the real facts & truths of our atmosphere. But the media and the global warming believers won't look. The truth doesn't fit their agenda (which is why there was, & still is climategate).

Clermont40,
I agree, we must not let anyone "Tread on me"! (your avatar is A Great Flag from USA in 1776.)
However, we are living in 2012 and, are you saying that polluted water and air does not impact us, or our children's children who will live in 2076?
?????????????????????????????
You posted "Congress needs to ELIMINATE the EPA Now".
????????????
Perhaps you believe all we need in the future is cheap gas for our cars so they can get bigger and go faster.
??????????????
Really, is that all we need to make our lives, - and the lives of our children - better?
